KI (Youth) is the informal education branch of our community. At KI (Youth) we create inspiring, community-building and values-based fun activities that help your child or teen create positive memories, deep connections and a meaningful Jewish identity. KI (Youth) is divided into three groups—4th Street for kids in 4th grade, Club 56 for 5th and 6th graders, and TN@KI for teens. Our cutting edge programs are open to the entire KI youth community. Kids do not have to be enrolled in religious school and are welcome to bring their friends, even if they’re not members of KI. Check out all the cool programs at KI (youth).

  Tikkun Olam

Kehillat Israel is at the core a philanthropic community and our mission is to draw upon the spiritual teachings of Jewish tradition to serve those most vulnerable in our society. Kehillat Israel's commitment to the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam (heal the world) can be seen every day in the congregation's large network of task forces and community service projects that serve the homeless, teach literacy, provide support for new immigrants, comfort those experiencing personal and family traumas, support food banks, fight crippling diseases and work on behalf of a spiritual approach to the environment.

  Jewish Learning Initiative

The Jewish Learning Initiative (JLI) is integral to the Kehillat Israel experience in Jewish living. It provides a wide range of learning opportunities to enhance your spiritual path as a Jew, as an American, and as a citizen of the world. This program spans daytime, evening, and weekend timeframes and includes physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual activities. Moreover, you will find many ways to interact with the Jewish tradition, its texts, and its people, as you personally reconstruct your idea of being Jewish in a modern world.
