The KI ECC Children's Library
The ECC is very proud of the wonderful library we have created for our children, ECC families and teachers. Our "self-run", "Honor-System" library contains more than a 1000 titles. We have books on dozens of topics, from dinosaurs, to Jewish Holidays and friendship & feelings. You name it, we?re likely to have books about it.
Our amazing collection of books is a direct reflection of our wonderful Kehillat Israel community pitching in in a variety of ways to make this project a reality. One important source has been our Book Donation Program. We encourage families to donate books in honor of a special occasion like your child?s or a friend?s birthday, a special Shabbat, the birth of a sibling, etc. When you buy a book in someone else?s honor, we send them a special acknowledgement letter informing them of the donation.
