Director
Paula Hoffman serves as the Director of the Early Childhood Center of Kehillat Israel. This includes the preschool and infant/toddler program of the Parenting Center. Paula lives in Woodland Hills and has two grown sons and a daughter.
Paula holds a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies and received her teaching credential from California State University Long Beach. She has worked in the field of education for close to thirty years, including teaching kindergarten, art classes when her children attended Hebrew School, and working as an early childhood director. Paula’s previous experiences as an ECC Director were at the North Hills (Granada Hills) JCC and the Palo Alto JCC.
Paula is currently on the board of AEJE – the Association for Early Jewish Education – as the secretary. During the summer of 2005, she traveled to Israel with other Jewish educators where the purpose of the trip was “bringing Israel into the early childhood classroom.”

Assistant Director
:
Diane Germansky serves as the Assistant Director of the Early Childhood Center at Kehillat Israel. She is also the coordinator of the infant toddler program within the parenting center.
Diane has been involved in Early Childhood Jewish Education for the past twenty five years. She was trained at the College for Developmental Studies in West Hollywood, CA and did her student training at The Center for Early Education in West Hollywood, CA. She taught two year olds for fourteen years, and served as both the assistant director and director at Bnai Tikvah Nursery School in Westchester, CA.
Diane is a member of SCAEYC - Southern California Association for the Education of Young Children as well as a member of the Jewish infant toddler consortium group. She lives in the Beverlywood area of Los Angeles with her husband Michael, and their two children Evan and Megan. In her spare time, Diane serves on several committees at her synagogue and loves to cook with her children.
