Year Two of Adult B'nai Mitzvah Class of 2010
In the second year, you will continue to learn Hebrew, Trope (chanting traditional Hebrew melodies), Torah, and delve deeper into prayer and Jewish rituals in preparation for the service when you become Bar or Bat Mitzvah at a special ceremony on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 4pm.

January 9, 2009 Rabbi Yossi Carron will speak to us on the subject of “The Lost Tribe: Jews in Jail.”
He is a chaplain in the Los Angeles County prison system, leading weekly Torah study groups, ministering to individual inmates at each of the half-dozen jails in his chaplaincy, and holding a monthly service and Shabbat dinner at the Men’s Central Jail.

Rapoport's photography career is noted for his Life Magazine photo essay on the aftermath of the tragic Aberfan, Wales disaster, and also for his exclusive and rare photographs of Joseph Pilates, the now famous fitness master and creator of the Pilates Method.
