Grades K - 10
For Reconstructionists, Judaism is more than a religion; it is a civilization encompassing history and literature, art and music, land and language, as well as spirituality and ritual. We seek a Judaism that promotes innovation that is deeply rooted in Jewish tradition, while reflecting the understandings and spiritual yearnings of contemporary Jews.
Our child-centered, experiential approach to education inspires children with the joy of Judaism. Children thrive in our open, creative, welcoming, nurturing environment. Torah, prayer, Jewish living skills, celebrations, the arts, history, culture, ethics, values and Hebrew are all part of program.
The focus and core curriculum for each grade has been carefully designed to engage children at their age-appropriate level. Teaching methods vary to meet the needs of all children, with the understanding that each child is an individual with a unique set of strengths and interests.
